Same here but, since it's not being shown in Canada, I've been asked to
burn a couple of copies. I think I'll just burn the .AVIs to a DVD and
add a codec pack.

 

Cheers, it appears that, like the series, it's not available in Canada,
so the DVD was for others. I'm quite happy playing the downloaded files.

You're not missing much from the US TV version - each episode has been
cut to 22mins for a 30min slot. The swearing has been cut, the
drinking & smoking has been largely cut. The killing of the bear was
completely removed in the last episode, probably since most Americans
don't have a problem with hunting, and the hand-wringing would have
been out of place. Ewan's frame break was also completely lost, tho
Claudio's wasn't (I think it would have been difficult to explain the
RGS morphing into a Ural if it was....)
