It would be reasonable to expect the set up of a GTi to be
significantly different to the rest of a small hatch range's variants.
The car in the film doesn't look like anything special.

Looks like a 207 or similar to me. I know that a 306GTi-6 looks almost
identical to my XSi, which looks almost identical to a colleague's
XTD Meridien, which is a bog standard diesel 306.

The important bits are under the bodywork. Even flash bodywork tells
you nothing, as it could be all aftermarket tat on a 1.2 litre shopping
    cart.

Err.. My Fiat Uno45 did it too, so did my Audi Coupe GT, so did my
Mitsubishi Colt. They all do that if you let off going into a corner or
mid corner when going at a fair lick.

    It's all about weight transfer.

The 206GTi doesn't look anything special. Looks like any other model,
    just with alloys.

I agree with Loz in that "it's a car, who cares", so my only input is
going to be that my SORenault 5 oversteers if you provoke it in the
right fashion, and it's barely cooking let alone sporty.

Assuming you're talking about cars, and Peugeot's in particular, what
is this 207 of which you speak? Perhaps you're posting from the other
side of a time warp or something?

It's great here. The people all live underwater.
