That makes him 10th fastest then, yes? :)

And I thought it was Haydon's bikes he was going to use as they swiped
    Shakey's main and spare bikes.....

I don't know, but they came out very late, with one Rizla blue painted
bike, and one black bike. I think they cobbled together the spare bits
to get him his own bike and shipped more fairings in, as he was on a
blue Rizla painted bike today. Haydon, AIUI was not at testing, so his
bikes were not there to use.

Having read more, they found the bikes anyway and Shakey used one of his
    own.

But they *were* planning on using the Haydon bikes which they took. He's
not there 'cos he's crook, but they'd be daft to not have someone else
testing parts etc on Haydon's bikes at an official test session - after all
they all fit in the same truck....

I think you are wrong, they only had Shakeys bikes Haydons bikes where
not there. Glad to hear they found his bikes though, any idea how?

I get their press releases by e-mail (which anyone can get by signing up on
the webshite). From the first one:

"Shakey will now have to use James Haydon's bikes, which were left
untouched, but they are set up completely differently"

The latest said they found the bikes "with the help of the police"....
