Given the recent events in the Middle East, it would be safe to say that
the British have taken military tactics courses from the French...

They also look down their noses at each other. The United Kingdom isn't
really very united. Their self-important snobbery goes back to the days of
the British Empire, and while it's long gone, the world is still waiting for
the decline and fall of British pomposity. The UK is not as important as it
once was on the world stage, and it's on its way to becoming as irrelevant
as its ridiculous monarchy. We were able to break free from their
monarchical government and they still resent it. All they have left is
pomp and circumstance, a world of faded glory. That's why they are so
opposed to any US military action. It reminds them of their own impotence.

And Ireland. Why would we insult ANY of them like that ?

There are/were some good looking Irish women: Andrea Corr, Maureen O'Hara,
Eva Birthistle, Sarah Morrissey, Pippa O'Connor, etc. Generally, the Irish
seem to be more svelte than the brobdingnagian American women.

Which makes me wonder, who has the worse teeth and breath between the Irish,
    Scots, and Brits?

It has to be the Brit's.

Huh? If they are so opposed, why are they still in Iraq?

Hell, a whole bunch of Americans are opposed to the current excersize of
    American military force.

Regardless of all the cross pond flames, "The Older Gentleman" is a fucking
troll. He really should know better. Very disappointing.

History does not record anywhere at any time a religion that has any rational
basis. Religion is a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up to the
unknown without help. But, like dandruff, most people do have a religion and
spend time and money on it and seem to derive considerable pleasure from
    fiddling with it.
