It appears the challenge was to take the worlds ugliest motorcycle and
make it uglier.

I had a delivery driver drooling over El Comfo this morning. He thought it
was "one of them vintage Harleys, work shedloads of money", and took some
convincing that it wasn't, even when I pointed out that it said Kawasaki on
the tank, and offered to sell it to him for two grand...

 

It's like a Dullsville without the lowers.

 

That front fender reminds me of the CBR's before Lozzo made some teeth
out of it.

 

Sooo, they take a faired bike, rip off the fairing to make an ugly bike,
thenthey add some fairing to make it less ugly and you still arn't happy ?

I think it is an improvement.

 

I like that, in black and yellow it would look like something from
Robocop! I wouldn't mind a go on one.

 

Sorry but we all know that every magazine on this planet says the Varadero
is the ugliest bike ever made.

I think so.

I'm sure in many ways it's a charming machine, but that front mudguard..
it's just so completely wrong looking. Then the petrol tank / headlight
combination, well that appears to have been designed around the outline
of a humpback whale.

Those crazy East Germans, eh?

Yep - been there, done that. Even when you point out things like the
radiator, disc brakes, lack of kick-start, they still insist that 'they
don't make 'em like that anymore'.
My Drifter's sulking at the moment 'cos someone said the Nuovo Falcone
was uglier. I've a good mind to put 'em both in the same garage and let
'em fight it out ...................... but what if they breed ? Now
that would be ugly.

She has taste - that's made me feel quite ill. Yellow with grey ffs.
And it's so fat it looks as though it is about to disgorge alien
