Many thanks for the participation of so many of the bikers in Texas during
the State Democratic Convention in Houston.. In spite of the daily rains and
oppressive humidity, several hundred of our motorcycle riding brothers and
sisters, all joined together this weekend in Houston.. Our goals were simple
and direct.. we went there to make a difference.. WE DID.. Resolutions which
have been developed over the past several months by the dedicated brothers
and sisters who share the brotherhood and fellowship of bikers, were
incorporated into the platform of this democratic party.. Our presence was
felt and very visible in all aspects of this convention.. I have just
learned that there were over 8000 delegates from all over the state, and no
one even has ventured a guess as to how many were in attendance.. Our
dedicated biker brothers and sisters were everywhere.. Each committee and
caucus felt the presence of them.. Each meeting, felt the influence by the
presence and input from those brothers and sisters.. We ambushed incumbent
politicians and their staffs in the hallways and offices.. We expressed our
approvals and disapprovals of our government.. We made our voices heard,
loud and clear.. Some agreed and committed their assistance.. a few ran away
... Truth be known.. the courage, convictions and integrity of our
brotherhood of men and women who share the fellowship of Bikers, will be
considered in our government up till and after November 2, 2004.. The
rallying cry of "Lead, Follow or get the hell out of the way.. We are taking
our government back"... was heard continually throughout this convention
center, from Thursday night till Saturday night.. The most influential of
this party, from the National level down to the State and local levels
listened and agreed with us.. Those of us who contribute on this newsgroup
should be proud and grateful that we have been so well represented by the
many who sacrificed their weekend to go to Houston.. The voices that were
raised, were raised on behalf of each of us.. The words that were spoken
were true and to the mark.. As bikers, we have been represented by the true
warriors amongst us.. Many of our brothers and sisters were there as
Delegates, many are incumbents while many are running for public office.. A
few of us served and represented motorcyclists by roving and roaming the
floors.. making our voices heard and listened to, by the ones who can assist
us in making a difference in our government.. We gave speeches in the
meetings and caucuses.. We challenged legislators and legislation while we
offered solutions to problems which we all face...No one has seen the likes
of this convention in many years, in our state.. No one is likely to see
another like it again, for years to come.. The brothers and sisters who
attended this convention are to be applauded and congratulated for a job
well done.. For .. each one of them came away as winners.. The challenges
were there and the challenges were met, overcome with determination and
courage.. all our resolutions were accepted voted on and approved before a
grateful nation as well as the participants in this convention..

As a side notation, it should be pointed out that Morgan Kane nor John
Moran were anywhere to be found this past week.

Of course, they'll talk it up again now that "The Walkers" are 300
miles to the north...safe and sound.

LOL.. Nossir.. you got invited to participate in a tx.motorcycle
newsgroup.. If you will notice, the "topic police" .. "grammar police", etc.
are made up of a minority of a very few, who would monitor and transform
this group into a personal and very sanitized version of a monitored and
secular group which has been very unsuccessful.. These "few" are under the
impression that they make up a majority of the participants in this group..
Their incessant chatter about their shortcomings as "bikers" are interesting
to each other and have successfully disenfranchised many from participating
on this newsgroup.. Your interest as a participating contributor is
appreciated and appears on target to enjoy the fellowship and camaradie that
the majority of true bikers enjoy with each other.. Typical of any group
that exists on newsgroups, tx.motorcycle has it's own share of "trash"..
Thanks for the contributions you have offered and I hope you continue to
    post without reservation..

LOL.. you are absolutely correct.. Trash like Burnore isn't on any kind of
list that I will be associated with.. With his record, I would diminish
whatever sense of decency to even respond to his B/S..

The words in your posts just seem to blur together
Your criticism is constructive and will be considered..
You have to keep in mind, this is a newsgroup media.. I don't recall
soliciting reading of my posts' to you or anyone else, directly.. I have
never solicited "approval" from anyone .. My posts address issues that you
are interested in, or NOT.. Your mouse is your friend and it has never
offended me to know that many click to the next post when my name "authors"
the post.. Be that as it may, I will make every effort to make things easier
for anyone to follow.. My e-mail is available and any questions will be
addressed if clarification of my comments are confusing to you.. After a
virtual two week absence from this group, my "Outlook" mailbox had more than
three hundred items in it.. Thanks for your input..
