    Yebbut you're in t'frozen north.

Round here we've had mixed grey, sunshine & showers. Mostly grey, it
has to be said, but often the roads are dry-ish.

    Got rather damp yesterday taking the sceninc route home in the rain;
though the tewnty quid leather jacket held the rain out longer than I
    expected.

I was distinctly wobbly round the corners; later in the ride it
occurred to me that I hadn't ridden in the rain for months. Apart from
the mild discomfort I was actually quite enjoying it.

Quite the opposite here :) It should be raining but it's not...
Had to do the 50 mile round trip to the dealers to get my faulty
indicator swapped on the Sprint and had a lovely time.
Of course the 'holiday season' has entered the later and more dangerous
period. We now see the vanguard of the 'older drivers'; somehow in later
life some people brains must flip 'mirror, signal, manoeuvre'.
Just pull out, remember to turn the blinker on and then look
surprised/shocked/annoyed at the poor bugger who hopefully has avoided
them rather than ended up inside their crumple zone..........

    Take care everybody.

It was supposed to piss down here today. Not ideal when you're moving
house. Stayed pretty much dry until no more than 5 minutes after the
removal truck pulled away, then turned into a monsoon.

    Lucky break that.
