I'll not be using the BMW for the TOG trip so you're welcome to take
it if you want. It's got panniers, tank bag, top box and plenty of
    other places to store luggage.

  2. Yes, but's not in a million pieces, which the Blackbird now is.

Probably older but age is just a number.

I'm sure F would enjoy sitting in the chair drinking tea as you
cruised along the motorway. There's also the added challenge of trying
to get it to a higher speed than Platy and I manage next week.

    Oops.

Hope the hand heals sooner rather than later, you clumsy wotsit. ;-)

Plod might be able to place the exact car in the area if there's ANPR around
those parts - I suspect there is, or at least decent CCTV given the local
councils record on nicking people for parking offences / bus lane
contraventions, by way of cameras rather than bods on the ground.

With regards to the bike, retain the salvage whatever, and then negotiate
with the insurance company for a settlement taking this into account.

It'll break for a lot more than they'll deem it's worth if nothing else
going by the money I had back on the bits of the salvage VFR I sold on
recently which I didn't use for my own one.

Anyway, as is the vulturistic fashion, I'm interested in seeing some pics of
the offending vehicle and as per my post the other week where I expressed
interest in the bike, I'm still interested in it if you'd like to let me
know how much you'd want for it once you've negotiated a price with the
insurance company for the salvage (with a view to putting the bike back on
the road for me to use than break it up / make a fast buck on it).

I could attempt to mount a cogent argument, but in this case I think a
    simple "**** off" will suffice.

If it wasn't for taking the 'tart' onwards to Limoges for a good seeing
to I wouldn't have minded borrowing Andy's outfit.

In fact I wouldn't mind a crack at extending the terminal velocity
    challenge on it sometime.

Pinkie could also be made available, if it's just a TOG tour steed
    that's required.

Feel free to borrow it any time you want.

I might take it to the bosm but even though I managed to select roads
where the KTM could be destructive last year I fear I may struggle to
do the same with the outfit.

It's a motorcycle combination or a motorcycle and sidecar.

I'd have thought you'd have secretly been pleased to have an outrigger
fitted until you get your confidence back.
