I was really impressed with the sound of the GP bikes, and more notably,
the difference in sound between all the motogp manufacturers.

I'd have to say the nicest sounding engines were the Ducati and the
    Kawasaki.

    Heres my rundown.

Honda: Sounded very harsh, not very pleasing to my ears. (it won the race
by 15 seconds (on the track) though, so it cant be all bad.)

Ducati: Very nice, not much more to say.

Yamaha & Suzuki: Didnt get to hear much of them, as they always seemed to
be going around with other bikes nearby.

Aprilia: VERY quiet, could barely hear them compared to the other bikes.

Kawasaki: very nice sounding engine, revs seem to increase faster with
increasing revs, unlike the duke. Shame they're so shithouse on the track.
    (McCoy did well enough though)

WCM: Sound like a sick (unwell) kwaka, exhaust popping on gearchanges.

Thats the rev limiter kicking in not the exhaust popping.

  3. It is a strong contrast isn't it!
Errmm you know... I would have picked those 2 as the most bland and boring.
That sound rocks! That raw edged raspy roar just screams testosterone
    *grin*
    Smooth, bit bland.
    Yah ditto... funny that.
    Yup quiet.
Very generic sound, least interesting of the lot!
Sounds good, different to the run of the mill.

Actually a Speed shifter - which cuts ignition on gearchanges

I noticed that only one bike was doing it.

BTW - The Proton sounded fantastic.
