"Every year, Pakistani media report dozens of deaths and injuries caused
by kite flying, mainly of children and motorcyclists whose throats are
sometimes cut by metal or glass-coated string."

Some people really need more sedentary leisure time activities.

 

N.Y. times reported that the latest fatality was a young
girl riding in front of her father on a small motorcycle
with mom and the rest of the family riding behind him.

They also said that with small motocycles often used for
transportation, many people would mount a metal kite
guard loop on the front of the bike.

This may be the one case where apehangers would actually
serve some useful purpose.

 

And beanie helmets, too.
