Finally, finally I got the Pan back today. Amazing how much the brakes
improve if the disc runout is within spec...

Of course it would've been even more spectacular if the bod at the
garage had made a note of the fact that the front brake doesn't
trigger the brakelight any more and thus changed the switch like I
asked him to. Oh well, mustn't grumble, it's only taken four weeks.

    Good news Timo...

I was awaiting the post to hear that they had managed to break the 'new'
rear wheel in some interesting and almost impossible way.

    So, you're all mobile again...

Until some **** runs into the back of it because the brake light
    didn't come on.

One might consider using the newly fettled *rear* brake every time the
front is applied, until the front brake switch is fixed. I would
adjust the rear brake switch so that it actuates the brake light at
the slightest stab. Which you should advise your garage is what they
will be getting if they don't fix the front, sharpish.

OTOH, anybody who posts with such a gibberish "posting name" could
just be illiterate, mad or just plain stupid. And Welsh, of course.

You don't support the Shite, do you?

Knowing your eccentricites, you'll be a Tranmere fan ;-)

Heh, if I was from the Welsh side of the water, I probably would be a

    know where Salford is)

    Ouch. That hurts ;-)

To be honest, my days of standing in the driving rain, freezing my nuts
off to watch a football game are over..... but in the days I did do
that, I actually preferred to watch Stocky County. Wembley twice in a
    week.... they were the days.
