Extraordinary. I presume it's some sort of period aftermarket kit?

  4. Not AFAIK. I don't think anyone made kits for the 750, for all the
    obvious reasons.

I love the way the turbo unit is mounted by the rider's right knee.

Proof positive that you can (hope) to polish a tued. I'd give the gearbox
about 10mins life. The rider <5mins.

    Ultra-efficient exhaust as well.

Actually the mounting of the turbo unit makes me wonder just where from
it does get its fresh air?

The other side. There's a K&N peeping out.

I particularly liked "bike was running, but suffering from fuel
starvation - larger carb included in the sale"

Yeah, that'll fix it, no probs.

  9. Quite liked the XS850 triple myself....but thats seriously a bog ugly
bike.... worse than a chopped plastic maggot... Still, i'd rather
    ride it than a HardleyAbleTo....

  10. Oddly, so did I. Humungous torque and a lovely exhaust note.

But the middle gearbox, which was marginal on the 750, was definitely
overstretched on the 850. They didn't uprate it.
