When we (me, Abso, Daz, Adie, Porl) were going to Spain, Porl forgot
to zip up his bum bag at the first peage (some 50 miles from Calais).
Shortly afterwards, Abso had to pull alongside Porl to tell him that
varying denomination Euro notes were escaping. The pair of them
pulled over and scampered about the autoroute picking up money, like
some scene from "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World".

Actually Porl was far more clueless than that. It was Abso and Adie
that stopped and picked up the money whilst Porl and I waited a few
miles down the road. A text from Adie along the lines of "You ****"
    shortly followed.

I think the quote was "Tell Porl he's a fuckwit".

It was an impressive sight actually, all the notes seemed to escape at
once in a big plume, of which I just about caught sight. The tragedy
was that neither of us knew how much had been lost, so when we got to
around 100 euro and couldn't see any more, we stopped collecting. ISTR
we later discovered there was more than double that lost, meaning there
must've been more fluttering away further down the road.

Methinks sir doth protest too much. I've only done it once, ably
rescued by yourself and Laura - unless I've forgotten a more recent
    re-occurance, but I don't think I have.

And just like the duplicitous double-dealing characters in IAMMMMW the
higher denominations were 'unrecoverable' and a paltry 40 quid's worth
or so was handed back. Strangely that night both were to be seen
scarfing beers willy nilly, content in their nefarious doings.

I'm not one to cast aspersions but I think they were responsible for
opening my bum bag and stealing the cash for their own use and
claiming it as an act of altruism. And, although I've no proof that
they both run a child-sex ring, what if they do?

    Frankly, I'm disgusted.

Who squealed? I bet it was that Adie. *Never* trust a bloke with long
    hair, I'm telling you.
    <fx: Whistles innocently>

As a matter of fact, having scampered with gay abandon across all four
lanes of an autoroute in pursuit of your wedge[1], I think Adie's
suggestion that we keep most of it was entirely reasonable.

    [1] Don't.

[1] Hearing Cheryl say "I'm pregnant" would be pretty close to #1 for
    both of us though..
