The joys of Springtime in Texas..

When the cloud cover finally passed and the sun burned through this morning,
it was apparently going to be a beautiful day for a good day run.. The
Vulcan was purring like a satisfied kitten, or "roaring" like a lion while I
plowed across the bridges at Lake Tawagoni.. The traffic was light and some
of the drivers of the few cagers were happy to cruise with a motorcycle.. A
quick chili dog at the DQ in Emory hit the spot and I bailed over to Sulphur
Springs without seeing more than three other vehicles.. The factory outlet
there, didn't have any new shirts that suited me, so I just bought a couple
of pairs of jeans, visited a bit and started back to Irving.. Even I-30
wasn't bad today.. Just under two hours and I was back home .. Good ride and
no one could ask for a better day for it..
