I don't know, but he's still dead. They have his body.

i personally can't tell from the video whether he's alive or dead at
    that point.

strangely enough, when his body was first discovered no mention was
made that he'd been decapitated. only later on did the story circulate
    that he'd been beheaded.

make of that what you will..

If anything, "they" try not to report deaths in Iraq. So when they do
report them, I think we can be sure that they have happened, plus many
others that don't quite make the headlines.

But that contradicts severely with the theory that, especially in an
election year, they'll want as little bad news coming out of as Iraq as
    possible.
You seem to be getting very nasty. Why? Are you naturally short tempered?

As it seems likely that you'd be stretching your intellectual abilities
to their limits by engaging in debate with a dying goldfish, I think
    your question answers itself.

No not at all! Bush is comimg under more and more scrutiny about the Attack
on Iraq and pressure to withdraw. So the killing of a civilian American in
Iraq suits him, expect an atrocity against Americans anyday now, the
perpetrators will no doubt be Iraqi or have close links. Just a few days ago
two US Troops were affected by sarin gas!! Its building up to somthing.

So calling you Naive which to me appears undeniable is Nasty!!! Funny.

    Sequiturs can, Be good.
I think asking you to make sense might be pushing my luck, so at this
stage I'm prepared to settle for garbage which either follows some kind
of quantifiable train of thought (I know, but I'm not sure what else to
call those little electrical impulses that manage to get from your brain
to your fingers on the keyboard), or which doesn't actively contradict
    itself.
