I could probably make space for one like that in my garage.

    Was the ABS switchable offable?

Ah. The space age bike. Just when you thought BMW knew something
    about aesthetics and practicality....

    Norge ABS is. Just saying....

    Zebee
    - who must be weeks behind in Norge-mentioning. And Theo hasn't been
taking up the slack, lazy beggar.

The K1 was built in 1988 so is now a 20 year old bike and at best was a
styling exercise, although a great open road sports tourer, it was bloody
hot and could burn your shins in the summer if you were wearing jeans. I had
one for 3 years and do not regret getting rid of it. One of the many BMW's
that I made a profit on sale.

This was one of the first bikes with ABS.

    My CT90 effectively has ABS.

(Well, it's got brakes that you can't lock up, anyway...)
