I'm using Sunconnect http://www.sunconnect.com.au/ They are Perth
Based but claim to install in

    Perth

    South-Western Australia

    Sydney

    Brisbane

    Adelaide

    Melbourne

I'm getting the six panel system to give me 1.2Kw capability but am
opting for a larger converter which will allow me to add another six
panels later. Govco kicks in $8000 which cuts out on June 30. Total
cost to me will be $3300 with an estimated saving of $400-$500 per
annum, about 30% of my current bill.

    Altzheimers, Theo?

On 6 June 2007, at 11.18am, in a thread titled "greenhouse effect -
how it works", you said: "I'm saying that the more money you spend on
an item, the higher it's environmental impact is likely to be."

I did indeed, but you managed to interpret that as "the higher it's
environmental impact is" and then went on about a pair of Nikes, and
on and on. I said "is likely to be" meaning that for example if you
have leather seats in a Roller or a Sonata, because of the difference
in quality more cows would have been killed for the Roller.

But to get back to your Nikes. It is likely that more man/woman hours
(person hours?) go into getting those into your hands than the generic
shoes because of the energery expended to sell them to you. The
advertising will require things such as magazine and newspaper ads,
which require paper and ink as well as time. Time also costs in
resources and raw materials as the people spending the time require
food, etc. etc. I don't believe things are quite as simple as you make
them out to be nor, I believe, do you. But do go on, and on, and on,
    and on, and on, etc.

Would you believe that, when I bought it, I paid $550 for the Merc,
it's been on blocks for ten years. I only have one bike, unlike some
people. I don't own a car, though my wife lets me drive hers
    sometimes.
The emu was certainly stuffed but I didn't bring it home.

Point one: Only one bike? That can be cured you know. (and what
    happened to the scooter?)

    Point two: Mercs aren't cars?

    What are they? Outboard Motors?

Purchased a MB CLK320 Convertable last week, sort of a cross between a bike
and a car a convertable, although I now have to wear a baseball cap in the
car to keep the sun off.

  13. You don't have to wear a baseball cap. You have to wear some kind of
headgear to keep the sun off, agreed. OTOH you already have a motorcycle
    helmet. See? Problem solved.

But killing more cows will reduce the amount of methane being emmitted
which will reduce it's enviromnental impact and should help counter
    global warming.
