No I have not yet got another bike:-(

I have just taken on another two muts.

I was looking for one to keep Lucy company, she has been showing signs
of loneliness since the loss of Mopsy.

A couple[1] that I knew have just split and neither for one reason or
    another can keep the dogs.

Instead of letting them be passed onto a re-homing service where they
would possibily be split up and due to the age and personality[2] of
one she may not be considered suitable for re-homing.

So I am now the owner of 3 muts.

How does the original dog handle the two new dogs invading it's
territory? I was thinking of getting another to keep mine company.

Mopsy was the dominant *dog*, Lucy has not got a dominant type
attitude, she has accepted that the fact that the dogs are here and
has been playing in the garden with Rebel[1], Tilla[2] is not really a
play type dog, she just does what she wants and both the others seem
    to respect that.

I have over the previous few days been walking all three dogs in my
local park, both on and off leads and on occasions without their
previous owner. I would not have accepted them if I had thought that
    there would be problems.

If you want to get another dog either get a young pup, most dogs will
accept a pup fairly easily, or if you want an older dog go through a
re-homing center and take your dog with you, most of them have got
staff that will help choose a dog that is sutable and help to
    introduce the dog to yours.

Superb ) I fostered a black lab for 6 months to make sure he got a good
home, a real shame I couldn't keep him, but an ever growing, demanding 11
month old Chocolate Lab (Enzo) and 2&half yr old Collie/Lab (Molly) meant I
didn't have the time I wanted to give him attention.

Good luck with the three tho )

I have in the past had to pass on a dog due to incompatability
problems with some of my own dogs.
They have settled down nicely without any problems, in the next couple
of days they will be bathed and aquire flee collars[1] and then on
monday a quick visit to the vets for a full MOT.

[1] my local park has a healthy fox population.
