Get 'em in early. Place your excuses for not being out on a bike this
Sunday below. I want to see some originality this time.

Still waiting for the solenoid for the GS500.
Bantam is acting up again, still waiting for the correct carb.
Might dig the LE out of winter storage, maybe it will start.

My new bike is being delivered sometime between mid morning and mid
afternoon - so I'll be spending the day cleaning the Ducati.

Is that good and / or original enough?

(I will probably get out on a run on Saturday morning, though)

Northumberland council have discovered a tectonic fault line running
directly beneath my garage and have warned me that starting up a V-twin
engine could produce a resonant frequency that would trigger a major
earthquake and/or volcanic eruption, potentially killings tens of thousands.

I suppose I *could* push it out of the garage before starting it, but I'm
too old, fat, unfit and lazy.

Where was I supposed to be going on Sunday anyway?

'cos my neigbour is building an extention and has put up scaffolding which
is taking up most of my drive!

He did ask me first....we both didn't expect the pikey scaffolders to put it
up to come across quite so far. Something about minimum walkways & HS.

I'm too fucking tired? Might actually go for an IAM observed ride on
Friday. That should make me look fucking stupid.

My new bike gets delivered on Friday but I can't ride it until Sunday
March 1st, and I'll be running it in locally until I get used to it.

I'll probably still be doing the work that someone assigned to me,
that I don't know how to do, in order to try and get it done within
the timescale that the clients, who also don't know how to do it or
    what it involves, have set.

    And, breathe.
