  2. All in favour of interbreeding, myself. Without it everyone ends up with
web feet and the like :)

When you're on a tiny island hundreds of miles from anywhere, webbed feet
    might be a good idea.

That's why the kids are so desirable there: small flippers.

Not that these surveys mean anything.....but...
I appear to be on the same spot as Gandhi.
I'm rather puzzled, really, as I feel my attitudes/politics are
somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan.
A colleague at work is a nu-labour councilor and has, privately and in
    good humour, called me Adolf.
Maybe I'll print the result and plonk it on his desk on Monday - give
    him something to think about....

I'm just above and to the right of Ghandi, which came as a big
    surprise.
Whoa... don't invade the tree space, dude. Have a beer or a smoke, but
respect the sacrifices made by the plants.

You think that Pip branching out in such a manner might be at the root
if its problems? I've always thought his bark was worse than his bite.

When I was on it I got about a year to find a job. If I hadn't landed
    this one when I did I would've gone onto a year-long "training
course"[1] where I could've chosen such options as the euro computer
driving licence, basic level programming, or two others.

The training only lasts a few weeks, then you're sent for "work
experience". These are placements of about 3 months where you work but
only get your allowance, not a wage. The idea is that when the time is
up the company take you on, but they're not obliged to and can send you
back and put in for another mug.

So what you're suggesting already happens.

[1] thus I wouldn't be counted as unemployed by the govt. stats.
