There again, I suppose half the "fun" is doing the work yourself.

I know a really good bike sparky that could sort it for you....he's
not far from me and doesn't ask for stupid money.

    Hmm...

That's more than I'd want to spend on one, TBH.

    No problem.

I'll probably tout it round a few shows - bung a "for sale" ticket on the
    seat etc.

  7. I don't mind people charging an arm and a leg for a restored/updated usable
bike, or a while set of limbs for immaculate concours, seeing as a lot of
time and effort will have been put in, and, as we all know, if you price the
time and effort, you can't make it a paying proposition anyway.

what annoys me is that utter crap like a basket case C15 is expected to
fetch silly money, and moreover, there are enough twits about to ensure that
    it does.

Even rare stuff like vinnnies - you buy a shagged one you're looking at
mucho dinero to get it decent, even if you have the equipment and do most of
the work yerself. So a shagged one shouldn't fetch big money, but they do.

Oh look - he's talking to himself again.
    Which is what I did.
The B31 found a new owner at the Wistanstow show last weekend.

    Now that is spooky.
Here's me looking for the last post I made regarding the MZ - and as if by
magic, whilst I'm searching ( in vain ) on Google groups, up pops your post.
Yep - the MZ is still up for grabs. £ 300 to your good self.
Funnily enough, I may just have an empty van going down to your neck of the
woods. There's a friend of our who is bidding on a Honda TL 250 trials
bike, which just happens to be in Sutton. ( Can't see one listed on eBay
anywhere though ) I don't know if he's won the bike or not, but we'll worry
about moving the thing should you decide to have it back.
