I saw a monkey bonk a football once, hell, I even seen what passes for
a mermaid, but I ain't never seen a Limey win Daytona, or for that
matter, a Ducati either, but with all the changes going on here at the
*World Center of Racing* one of those might just come to pass this
    afternoon..

The sun is out,(mid 60's) the track dry, but it's howlin' wolf. (the
wind's out of the wnw just below full gale!) Gear choice may very
easily determine today's winner. My pick? None, as after the
revelations of late I get the feeling we're all winners. **BUT** don't
forget this is prolly Miggy's last shot and he didn't win five by
    accident..

Oh yeah, we passed on the SX last night, as I suffered a "too much"
issue, not too much oysters and beer, just waaay too much rain. (it
came down hard even by Florida standards!) Kudo's to Windham and those
    hardy souls that showed up...

ÔYou know youÕve been wrong but it wonÕt be long
Before you leave Ôem all far behind

ÔCause itÕs the new Mother Nature taking over
ItÕs the new Splendid lady come to call
ItÕs the new Mother Nature taking over
    SheÕs gettinÕ us all
    SheÕs got it all...

It's time for some "serious" racin' folks, gotta' go...

Well what do you know. Chaz Davies wins the Daytona 200.

And both factory Hondas go out.

Yeah, looks like Erion got caught "In flagrante delicti", huh? I don't
understand how they thought they'd get away with litening those cam
shafts knowing the box always gets tore down. I dunno, but that would
be almost the last thing I'd expect an outfit like Erion to pull, not
that "stretching" the rules is below them, it's just that they're right
in your face and the first thing you see when the covers come off. You
gotta' feel for Josh though, he ran about as perfect as race as it
gets. In any event, I guess now I can say I've pretty much seen it all,
    a horny monkey, a mermaid and a Limey with a D200 win!

Another train wreck 200 for big red, Dunlop too it would appear...

    On another note, check this out if you have the time;

Hard not to think the rule book will be changing and I also heard he
thinks knowing who's gonna win a race before you get to the track isn't
a good thing, prolly not the best of news for the Yosh guys...

Might not have happen if he hadn't screwed his team mate by pitting at
    the wrong time.
I feel bad for Josh, but love another Kawasaki first and second :)
Yeah, I can see it now, "A seagull shit on the back straight! Get the
pace car out there for about five laps while we clean it up (and bunch
the field back up)." Between that and different size restrictor
plates for each rider, with size updated on a race by race basis, they
should provide some good close racing.

Correction, a polished crank, not camshaft's, same (dumb) deal though..
I hear they're going to use radio and that will really help straighten
any confusion over such things like that..
Heh, how about if Miggy had ended up coming in 1st just to be DQ'd?
I dunno, there was a couple times I thought they'd pull the pace car
trigger and didn't, but for sure it's gonna be interesting how (or if
they actually do) they try to pull the Yosh guys back a notch...

I think, or at least hope he was talking about bringing new sponsors to
sport, one's who can help make it trully professional so those guys
don't worry about gas to get home..
Heh, a Viagra Buell to bring some of your H-D buddy's to the party?
    Sure, why not?
C cup? Heh, how 'bout a hiccup?
It'll prolly be a tough sale because of the economy no matter who, but
looking at Grand Am there seems to be a lot of electronic guys in it..
I think we can count on just that happening and while I believe he'll
keep the road courses we have and add new ones if they're worth a fuk,
I'd expect to see some more infield racing along the lines of DIS..

Did you notice more press coverage this year? My local rag, that as far
as I know has never mentioned the D200 beyond the death count, actually
had a story about the race...

    Oddly

enough though, a Limey finally wins the watch, then another the race
and not a peep from the Beep...
