A few more scratches on the wind deflectors and screen, plus it looks
like I finally need a new set of handlebars. Damage to the Morini seems
to be minimal - a couple of scratches to the headlight rim, which
    wanted rechroming anyway...

Phew. Looks like a lucky escape, even if I have to throw a few pounds
in the general direction of Mr David Silver - at least no irreplaceable
    parts have been damaged.

Thanks to Kevin Seal and Whinging Courier of this parish for lending a
    hand yesterday!

And the mental picture of the Pan on its mainstand with the Morini
hanging from its handlebar like a speared fish still makes me grin...

I was a bit surprised at the ease that the wing mirror covers came off,
or is that just yours Timo? :)
Cute little bike that, even I would call it light!
Indeed, the pan didn't want to let go easily did it.

Kevin Seal scribbled on the back of a napkin:
    *chomp*

    No, they all do that.
    I thanka yewe.
Nope, certainly didn't. Hope it didn't screw up too many of the 'leccy
    bits...

  5. Just get on it and ride the damn thing!

All this talk of "will I **** it up" just puts negative vibes on it.

Your bike does have feelings, man.
