    a) I hate tinyurl
    b) you could have provided a clue about the content. Some people read
    this offline, you know.

Thanks. The idea of keeping it at Verdi's was that it was nice and
close, but seeing as I haven't even taken it a bunch of flowers or a
battery charger i n9 months, it wouldn't have actually mattered.

Anyway, things are afoot to resolve the situation.

    1. It's unneccesary.
    2. It's slow.
    3. It tells you nothing about where you're going - could be pr0n or
    anything.

Well it stops URLs wrapping which is convenient if nothing else.
    Only a little bit.
I would say this is the fault of the person providing the link.
I thought there might be a real reason like they support the KKK,
    Al-Qaeda or The Bush Administration.

All in all I think the pros out way the cons.

No it's not. Get yourself a decent newsreader.
    Too much.
    Well yes, obviously.
Whatever. I still hate them and, like many people, will not click on
them unless there's a very clear idea of what it's linking to.

    Got one.

Each to their own, I try to provide a description or at least a context
for a link whether it's tiny or not.

A quality newsreader will also stop this.
