From the H Cafe (formerly Fox's Diner) web site, a message from Thames
    Valley plod, including the following...

"I understand that the club has in the region of 250 members, yet 1400
passed through on the Monday prior to our meeting. Most complaints that
I receive are from surrounding villages in relation to speed, loud
exhausts and small number plates. I will be working closely with Steve
and Shaun to reduce these complaints which unfortunately give all good
    bikers a bad name."

Are they having a fucking giraffe? Local villagers have actually
complained to the police about the size of motorcyclists' number plates?

I smell pork pies as well as bacon.

Well you should know as well as some others of us that this is the way
    things are going.
How exactly would they know how many bikes passed through? Hmm?

Remember that 60s mantra: "Who's law, who's order?"
It remains at the crux of things up and down the feeding chain.

Because it seems to me like wanting to exercise an age old
    right

By the "been there" definition I wasn't, but I still don't remember that
    particular mantra.

    I do remember this though:

    "The time must surely come
For the laws to fit the times
    The time must surely come
For the laws to fit the times
But while the law is standing
You've got to open up your minds"

Will you fucking hippies leave my serious thread alone?

Or is this punishment for my quoting Donovin/Saint-Marie lyrics
    previously?
