    I read this.

    Why, you may ask?

    I have no answer.

All I can say it that it's only a newsgroup, and not the grassy knoll.

    YMMV.

By the way, Des, you've left out a very important member fo the Anti
    Clique.

    TechnoWarrior, aka Ironhorse.

Google him, massive. Also check Bear's posts by way of reply. I
laughed till.......... and TW was sorted and send off with a flea,
    IIRC.

    Later.

Oh, not just you. He also sent them to me and many others. Oddly Tog
    as well.

I think Tog pulled a bit of a masterstroke with him and got him to
menace someone else as well. Of course I could be confused.

Heh. The pictures on his website.

God's teeth, that is a sad page. I hadn't seen it before, but now I am
seriously worried that Des' tenuous grip on reality has finally slipped.

Or come to that surprised. He's obviously not playing with a full deck
and I can understand why in a moment of clarity he decided to
    x-no-archive.

Well up to a few days (weeks?) ago I didn't really get too bothered
about his postings and rantings. I have met the man more than once and
didn't have a problem with him. In fact I have previously enjoyed his
company and merrily watched him get so shit-faced he returned to the bar
saying that the bikes had been nicked [1] from outside the hotel. Silly
sod was so pissed he was in the wrong street [2]. So I felt I could
honestly say "worried" as concern as I haven't crossed-words in anger
    before. However, I give-up [3].

[1] Clever i-thieves as there were 20+ bikes
[2] In mitigation the town square was very symmetrical and anyone pissed
could have left on the wrong side-road
[3] Yes I am slow, seeing that so many have already made this decision

There may be more truth in this than your jest suggests.

Poisonally I think that Des's fragile personality has finally broken and
what he needs is not the Lozzo cure but better meds.

Well, as it stands I still have not personally seen the dark side of Des.
I have seen how easy it is to wind him up (easier than me) and that he
like to tell a few fibs, unfortunatly he believes them eventually. People
pounce on this and have a go at him, he feels the desire to defend himself
and the hole is dug deeper.

I know he has gone to far with people and rubbed others up completly, but
as yet he does nto reside in a kill file as I find the ramblings amusing.

What people should remember is that despite being slagged off here he was
still able to help out a member of UKRM in an hour of need in 2001. And
because of that he is still welcome round at mine[1] until such a time as
    he goes too far.

    [1] Same goes for Bear.
