I see using a DE razor as taking a step back in time. Ok for those who
like watching Eric and Ernie on a B+W TV and playing records on a
    gramophone I suppose.

Now, back on topic... those nice new Matchless singles, rather spiffy
    aren't they.

Mine last about a week. That's shaving 6 times. I have a rather tough
    beard as well AFAIK.

Buy them in bulk and you could probably use each blade once and still
    save money over cartridges.

The only issue I have is airport security can get a bit arsey, since I
    travel with hand luggage only.

    I use this one...

    http://www.kingofshavesdirect.com/Alphagel-Shave-Gel-Cooling-Menthol-PUK_AGELCOO/
I get three decent shaves out of a blade and one rough one normally.
But I've got a pretty tough beard and sensitive skin, so need to keep
the blades very sharp. I tend to shave every other day, so a blade
    lasts a week.

I guess it is a bit, but they give me a better shave than a Mach3 or
Fusion does. I recently bought a 1953 Gilette Superspeed Red Tip.
It's just a nice thing to have,

What did you get and what do you want next? I have some rather interesting
info on a Chinese (don't laugh, these things are fucking GOOD) version of
    Jap originals.

These heli's aren't going down well with the "local" heli emporium because
    they don't sell them.

I tend to shave about once a week because I'm happy to look like a
tramp. So a Wilko Quattro cartridge lasts me a couple of months, at
    least.

The money I've saved on a lack of personal grooming over the years
has probably paid for everything in my garage.

  10. Alternatively it's cost you the promotions that would enable you to have
    more stuff in your garage.

But, then again, I'm a weekend tramp.

Its a locking booze holder normally containing two carafes or decanters
etc. of grog with a locking mechanism to keep the help away from the good
    piss.

Amulti-blade razor gives you how many blades extra strokes, used with
a good oil and soap (king of blades oil etc.) smooths things and
decreases rash, makes for a smoother shave. You should brush the
blade as this kinda strops the blade and adds to its sharpness,
apparently. If you have an old-school blade, you have to do more
strokes for the same result. However, technique does come into it.
You takes your money and makes your choice.

King of Shaves razor and oil helps me to attain a smooth finish, but
hey, whatever works for you. Study the theory and do whatever works
    for you...

I often find a more disposable approach to booze transportation to be
good. The return journey is often fraught with difficulties brought on by
the inevitable emptying of the afore mentioned booze container. My middle
name is "the" and not "self restraint". At this point I should probably
say "It's all Bear's fault!" :) Grossly untrue really but he's not been
    blamed for anything for ages.
