    Well, why wait?

T gets some offensively expensive jewellery, I've bought myself the
    opportunity to buy another bike.

Heh, wife loved Matt Cardle the X Factor winner (A TV talent show, of
sorts) so I've been downloading everything I could find of his on
Youtube etc with a view to making her a DVD and ripping a CD for her
car from it ... feckin' HD died on Monday night ... Going to try to do
    it all again tonight.

Personally I bought meself a pair of cycling gloves and walking
    boots/gaiters/trousers, dunno if she's getting me anything .. ;)

    A cover for my Kindle.

Which is one more present than usual, and actually something I wanted.

I'm not certain, but I think I'm getting a thing to hold the HTC in the
car. I wouldn't have that much need for if I hadn't installed Copilot,
    but I have.

  10. There is a gigantic box under the tree with my name on it. Peering past
the slightly amateur wrapping reveals the words 'Halfords',
    'professional', 'tool', 'cabinet' and 'roller'.

    Excellent.

ll will be confirmed on the 25th.

    In communiqué <1jtzyow.1fv9ax71qbelmdN%>,
My birthday pressie roll cab is still waiting in the garage to be
provisioned with the tools that don't form part of the hill climb/track
day paddock set. Too brass monkeys to go in there at the moment.

While tis easier to seek forgiveness than permission, tis even easier to
use trinkets as a distraction while spunking a fortune on vehicles.

Indeed. Having spotted another bike on the drive, T went a bit more mental
until she clocked the Gucci necklace hanging off the handlebar. At which
point she immediately returned to her usual level of mentalness

Hope so. I requested a nice leather satchel type bag that could be
used to cart the work laptop around. So smart enough to use with a
suit, but a bit more casual and less ubiquitous than a Targus nylon
    briefcase/backpack.
