Dear Scooterists,

It's that time of the year, when the cool, windy weather prevails, and
the scooter enthusiasts are making final preparations for a busy riding
season ahead. Well, we are ready for our first official ride of the
year!

We are planning to do a March 4 th, 2006 ride. We are selecting this
day so we can meet up with many other scooter and fellow bikers in
Fredericksburg, Texas (see below). For those wanting to stay at
Fredericksburg, we are also planning a ride on March 5 th. from
Fredericksburg to the region south of the city. That ride on March 5th.
goes on one of the MOST scenic but highly kept secret routes (SHHHSS
- Lost Maple National Park)

The specifics of ride number 3

We plan to meet in Georgetown at the Starbuck's Coffee Shop on Williams
Drive at 8:30 am. We then leave at 9:00 am for another pick-up point in
Austin. We will arrive in Austin at 9:45 am at the Scooter's Coffee
Shop located on Far West Blvd. Near MOPAC.

Safety is the most foremost importance. It is strongly recommended all
riders wear suitable MSF riding gear such as helmet, gloves, jacket and
proper long-pants. Depending on the number of riders who show-up, we
can plan accordingly to leave in small groups to meet up along way in
order to avoid having to play catch up. Everyone should ride according
to their abilities and not feel pressured to keep up with other riders
in the group.

This e-mail reminder will be sent once a month, perhaps more depending
on the interest of the various scooter riders. Please RSVP with the
name of the riders in your group plus any additional passengers.

We will be sending another e-mail with a map of the Saturday route
soon. The route for Sunday will be printed out for you and provided on
Sunday (hey we like to keep that route secret...it is THAT GOOD!)

Finally, Steve Guzman, the editor of thescooterscoop.com and I plan to
record video footage of our ride, to be published on thescooterscoop.tv
show. Now your friends can see you live!

The 2nd Annual Spring Fever Bike Fest is brought to you by the Full
Moon Inn (3234 Luckenbach Rd.) and The Hog Stop Inn & Ice Haus (10207 E
Us Highway 290), with registration beginning Friday at the Hog Stop Ice
Haus, live music in the background to entertain you. Saturday will have
the hill country bike ride, bike games, bike show (classic, stock, and
custom), an evening shrimp boil with cold brews and more live music.
Registration fee is $30, and lodging is available at both the Full Moon
Inn and the Hog Stop Inn.
