The CBR600F2

  1. Well, I've been lent this bike for an extended test. Initial
    impressions are:
    - It's faster than the Bandit 600.
    - It feels smaller than the Bandit 600.
    - It's quite a bit faster than the Bandit 600.
    - It's not as easy at low speeds as the Bandit 600.
    - It's a lot faster than the Bandit 600.
    - It's not as comfortable as the Bandit 600.

I think it's not the bike for me. I need to test out a Bandit 1200, I
think; if all else fails, I've decided that even another B6 wouldn't
be a bad thing, but I'm keeping my options open.

Top yolk conversion with set of Renthals, high screen, nice zorst - Bob's
your Auntie, better than a Bindat600 any way you look at it. Or are you
    talking pillion accommodation here.

  3. The pillion factor is important. Also the pegs are uncomfortably high
for me on the CBR [1]; I like the riding position on the Bandit much
    better.

[1] This may be due to the fact that my knees are still sore from the
accident, although they were only bruised.
