I think the point of 'don't look' was to avoid being made uncomfortable
by the rating of a favourite eaterie.

However, the browser thing got suck in somewhere, but even if the site
in question *did* crash ice weasel, that doesn't mean that the Linux OS
    crashed.

I don't think that 'explanation' was worth it, so I'll bugger off and do
    the crossword.

Yes, I did too, but <pedant alert!> crashing an app != crashing an O/S

My linux box froze up the other day. That's what comes of running Windows
programs. In fact the previous time it crashed was also caused by a Windows
program. I suspect I should be laying the blame as much at Wine's door as
    that of the program though.

Yes yes yes, I was being a pedant and thought I'd be mean to Ace at the
same time. It seemed like a win-win to me.

Shit! I'm running linux? I thought that was meant to be difficult and
    geeky!

The program 'firefox-bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
    (Details: serial 397806 error_code 2 request_code 53 minor_code 0)
    (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

    :(

Lets install a fresh flash player then. Shall we.

    Yeah, and:
Sure as hell sounds "difficult and geeky" to me.
