All bolted together again, ready to ride.

Dennis's repair's OK, but not brilliant. I'd give it 7/10, but most
people probably wouldn't notice the flaws unless they were pointed out
(some orange peeling and some bubbles in the laquer). However as his
quote was £130 and the other mob wanted £345 I guess it's not too bad.

Whatever, it certainly looks better than it did a couple of weeks ago.

WD40 does it in 15 minutes.

To be fair (and it lines up with what you said last night), it looks a
lot better now it's on the bike than it did in the kitchen

    Good-oh.

Unfortunately for you, Champ, Kevin, me and anyone else on here that
has a Busa, we are all going to die.

Clarkson said it on Top Gear last night, so it must be true.

Of course it's true, you idiot.

It's also true of everyone else on the planet. Deal with it, and enjoy
    what time you have left.

Thanks, but I'm going to leave the cans as they are. They're both marked
a little but they'll do. Trying to keep it 100% perfect will be an
expensive, time consuming and fruitless activity.

The other thing that's become clear is that as the remaining blemishes
are not visible unless you lay down next to the bike, and if I start
doing that I've probably got bigger problems to worry about.

After I'd posted that, I realised my schoolboy error and that someone
would come along and say pretty much exactly that. I never thought it
    would be you, though )
