Didn't check the mail last night and lo and behold.. this morning
there was IM's and e-mails to inform me that the guys are gath-
ering to do some riding today.. Saturday..

About the time I'd considered the idea and decided to join them
I learned that today is voting day.. (via a telephone conversation
with one of the riders).. After being reminded to vote.. there is no
way that I can neglect to tend to that most important business..

Dammit.. the Green Vulcan has been sadly neglected since we
made that little Mena, Ark. run and besides.. finally got all those
mixed Arkansas and Mexico bugs off that sucker.. hmmm.. I
think.. Seems like every time I get close to it, I find another one..

The "Boys" are sure trying those new motorcycles.. putting a lot
of miles on them and getting them broke in right.. That's the way
to do it.. Ride that new motorcycle like you just stole it and that's
the way it will run for it's entire life.. At least, that has been my ex-
perience with breaking in a new one..

It's good to see these guys ganging up to use up those miles..
That's how it's supposed to be with bikers.. Sharing what you
enjoy.. motorcycles, friendship and the fellowship of good men..
hmmm.. How do you fellowship with "good women" ? There's
some of them out here riding their own motorcycles, too.. Can't
beat the wives of some of this crew, either.. Riding two up is a
tough job and these ladies are the best..

Anyway.. I'll be thinking about these guys while they do their ride
today.. Sure am disappointed that I'm not out there with them..

I would love to go.I am ready also.A job keeps me semi-confined.When I
retire, watch your ass.I will be gone on the blue one all the time.Or the one
that takes it's place. If I was retired now,My life would not be altered by
the "Kitchen Pass" like some seem to be.I do understand obligation.I am just
trying to get less obligated the older I get.Workin' on it.
    BTW-What's your excuse?
Not asking you to go to california.Just a small day ride.Nothing to an "Old
Trooper" like you.You don't need to stay so confined up so much.

"Confined" ? ROTFL.. hmmm.. I usually make the runs to California,
    Arizona,
Mexico.. Austin, Houston and Mena, Ark.. year after year.. Gotta watch these
    "Old Troopers".. haha..

So.. you WILL be on that run to Arizona.. is that right ? Soon as we get
    that one
behind us, we can start planning that next run down into Mexico.. hmmm..
    Sure
hope this old Green Vulcan holds up with all this "pressure".. LOL For that
    mat-
ter.. I sure hope the "old man" holds up.. Some are taking bets against it,
    but..
I've got long range plans.. <chuckle>

I guess that was a wrong choice of words."obligated" would be a better
word.Just wait till I start getting those gov. cks. like you and I am outta
here.Hope there is some left by the time I get to that point.
You really need to make more use of your retirement and strike out more
often.Get out of the house.Ride that thing more than the local area.Come go
with us on a day ride and we will see some of the local country. Not the
    local store down the street.Abilene,Texarkana,Oklahoma,etc.

I am not worried about the old retired ones.We have one over here in the
metroplex area that can't get a kitchen pass.He has to have a 3 month notice
to arrange one.Not mentioning any names, but,he just holds up in that trailer
park out there in Irving,Texas.I am gonna ride out there, take a pic of the
"Green One" and put it on EBAY.Maybe some youg kid will buy it and it will
    get used.

Thursday afternoon on lunch! I'll be free/available during that time.
Booked solid the rest of the week until Monday. Then I have to deal
with California the rest of the month.

Which Keller's? Maybe Tomtom will be up to date enough to have it in
    their map's poi!

    Let me know the stats!

I have to give a training class on Friday from 8am to noon. It's
possible I could sneak away as soon as I get done, but I'd have to
know where to sneak to. I'd have to also be back at the office shortly
after leaving for more install closures. Thursday, I'll be free all
    afternoon.

    Let me know!

You'll just do both days, huh? :)

I'll also need an address for Keller's if it's the one other than
Harry Hines. For some reason, Tomtom doesn't have a clue of any of
them other than the one on Harry Hines off Denton Drive.

    Fuckin' Tomtom SHIT!!!!
