  1. A tricky business this propaganda stuff. It is a very fine balance they
have to tread. One the one side you have our militant moral majoritists
who think they should attach brushes to their feet and on the other there
is I can't think of a better analogy so will stick with the bloke who
wants to destroy the world and the rest of Us in the middle somewhere.
Plus they have to send out really different messages to different folks.
To Us they have to say that on balance not too many civilians are getting
killed but it is inevitable that the odd one will and with a bit of luck
it will be Howeveryouspellhisname and on the other they have to scare the
shit out of any Libyan civilians who might be rendering aid and shit to
their military to generally screw the pressure up a bit because that like
teasing the antiaircraft crews over Tripoli when everyone else is sleeping
is all a part of it. Ideally they want to bring him to court and I was
very pleased to here some man in the street in Bens Khazi say that he
wanted the same. The only way they are going to do that is to scare
enough of his into being at least neutral if not full on traitors to thier
cause and becoming ours and this marvel not that our gummint information
dissemination machine is doing it but at fucking good they are at it.

It is a shame we have got the merkins helping us really, they will only
    **** it all up.

I believe this has been mentioned before and if so deserves to be
    mentioned again.

  2. I have thoughtfully edited my post to make the point more understandable.

    I don't give a flying **** about the preamble.

and it does not hurt that this gets another repeating either.
