On mainlaind Britain and I don't count the far reaches of Scotland :-) Coming back from Anglesea on Sunday I saw loads of petrol stations with the price at 99.9 for both Diesle and UL. Which made me think that they were ripping someone off as the tax on diesle is higher. So , despite needing petrol (158 before reserve on the XJR was good) I waited until I hit a known lower price one just off the A5 (95.9). I then headed off towards Betsws-y-coed so I could cut over to Llanwrest and revisit the scence form 2001. Just outside BYC I spotted an Esso station with Deisle at 105.9 and UL at 101.9. Which was odd, because as I suspected the Shell in BYC was 94.9. Not sure which waqs worse, Esso ripping people off or the 2 bikers filling up that had approached fro BYC !
