shaft-drive instead of noisy messy chains......

I think they had shafts before chains. They used those leather belt
    things before chains.

Some guy named Colonel Holden (who later migrated to Oz) made a bike
with no chain, no belt, no shaft, no gearbox. He had really long
conrods with the rear axle acting as the crankshaft. A twin, one
conrod each side of the wheel. Had a certain enticing simplicity to
    it.

and I like the Darth Vader helmet
    http://www.xoli.net/Motos/2003-06-28-Mora/html/image1.html

but tell me; did the cable-tie clutch work? sheer genius!
    http://www.xoli.net/Motos/2003-06-28-Mora/html/image16.html

By the way; we have strict helmet laws that effectively ban the use of imported helmets so if you get the
chance to sell yours it'd be best to do so and buy a newie here.
    Cheers ..... Clem

First weekend in June, we'll be looking for you!
    Classic stuff, mate! I see the usual suspects: bikes, babes, and bullshit;
even a 'bomba de humo', and a 'bicho' shimmying up a sheer stone wall... but
for one thing, you should fit well into Australia: I don't see one of the
premier Bs, beer! Is it all vino and bolos over there?

    Yes!

And this dude looks quietly familiar...

And how did they get that f'n tree up there?

Yes mate, you'll do well in Australia!

She breaks two bike levers in a day, so you give her a bicycle one? Crikey,
you breed them tough in Spain! Did you make her one out of kryptonite?

When you look like she does you don't need to be a good rider (or mechanic).
