  1. Bit extreme just to get the longest thread of the day, isn't it?

    Ach, bugger it.

    Best of luck.

That's a shame Alan. I'm suprised no ones offered to comfort Sarah yet...

Will Gower School's still be in the middle of nowhere or are you going to
    move somewhere sensible? :)

ps. will we finally see you on a BOTAFOT?

  9. No - my parents and then the couple whose flat I had digs in for my
first year at polytechnic. Not only is it really fun crying yourself to
sleep while your parents scream the house down but it's also a real
jamboree day to return from college to find 2/3s of the flat is
disappearing out of the front door. Great times.

All that it has really taught me is that those people who have somehow
built a happy family and a tolerant and understanding relationship have
done a rather amazing thing. People who have a "stable" family really
should learn to appreciate it for what it is. No one should have to deal
with the ramifications of a divorce but I recognise that there are loads
    of reasons why they happen.

I'm think I'm too single minded and independent to be able to commit to
a long term relationship but then "Mr Right" hasn't turned up to make a
    better person.

Still, best to look on the bright side, most dry cleaners have an excellent
    shirt ironing service these days.

Seriously, never great to hear this kind of thing so hope it all works out.

Alan, hope it all works out for you and the family.

Spending the winter in LA seems like a bloody sensible idea to me. Daytime
temperatures are currently hovering around 20 deg C.
