    I dunno wtf you're whinging about.[/QUOTE]

My first off in 5 years, excluding a couple of rolling off sidestand
    moments.
Not too worried about that ATM.
I was intending PXing it against a 9R in the next month - hence the
    subject line.
To make it legal will cost about £50. After that it depends upon the
affect on the trade in value.

Or see if Scorpion can do something with the 3 year old carbon one in
    the garage.

I don't recall seeing a single 1200S fairing on eBay - the joys of
owning a non-clit bike. Still, the damage appears to be restricted to
scuffing only, with no breaks or missing bits.

Todays lesson - When someone offers you free beers, take them up on it
instead of going out on the bike ;-)

  11. Nah; you've got to get your knob out.

    <snip pics>

Polish out with a bit of tcut that will.
Consider it a result. Nothing's broken and you rode away.
    Careless bugger.

I think I'll give that a miss. I do have *some* standards after all.
It's the elbow grease I'm lacking. I wonder if I can get a polishing
    mop for the angle grinder....
    Oh yes.
    Aye.

Minimal cost to get it back to road legal - £50ish for a proper
indicator, less to bodge some of Motrax's finest flush mounts on.

    Yes. I. Know.

Close run thing though - drinking in Cardiff or tarmac surfing [1]

[1] Note to the Welsh - that was a joke. Admittedly a poor one, but a
    joke.

    No problem.
Kiss goodbye to a decent amount of NCB and say hello to raised
    premiums? No thanks.
