I can now confirm that a collapsed sprocket carrier bearing makes a
fairly unpleasant noise, and fucks up your gear changing something
    rotten.

All better now. I wonder if it'll pass its MOT tomorrow?

And if you don't spot it soon enough it can melt your swinging arm, as
    Bonwick will testify.

    Ouch!

Anyway, in other news, it passed.

Two new tyres, I kind of knew that would be the case, and a couple of
minor snags sorted by a passing helpful spanner monkey.

Who also pointed out that the brakes are shite and need a service. Fair
    point, well made...

Anyway, I frightened him by threatening to bring the Wing back in for
another MOT. **** me, it's nearly a year since I bought it.

It won't make the blindest bit of difference. I fitted CL SBK3 pads,
rebuilt both calipers with new pistons and seals and had Goodridge
lines. The brakes were still as shit as they always were, and no better
than the untouched ones on my first ZZR11.

Er, yes. These are actually a bit worse than that... ;^)
