About £350 without the end can. Ouch.

But.... it's a 'once in the life of the bike' job - once you've gone
stainless you don't have to worry about it again.

Moosehead might disagree with you there.

Oh yes, we know that. It's either the engine or the swingarm. Told him
not to expect much change from £500.

He was looking at cheap options - until I told him how tricky it is to
fit, so he's now looking for a 'cheap' stainless system.

Bearing in kind the complete bastard of a job it is to fit a full system
to a VFR, I'd seriously be looking at getting one supplied and fitted by
Swona In Scotland. Bee's ex/bf had the full system hand built in quality
stainless steel with end can for 560 quid inc fitting to his 1998
VFR750FW, and he and other owners form various VFR groups are well
    pleased with the results[1]

[1] Or he was until he binned the bike.

I shouldn't imagine either of them were low speed drops either, he's a
pretty handy rider from what I saw. I struggled to keep him in sight at
    times with Pip's Bandit 12.
