... not to filter on the wrong side of a rumble strip where all the crap had collected. On the way home the bike's handling started feeling sort of waggly, somehow, but only sometimes. At first I put it down to the wind, but it didn't feel quite right for that. I gave the bars a gentle push at motorway speed but the bike remained rock solid. I guess that that the TLR's oil-tanker-like stability does have its benefits. Once home, I found that the rear tyre had only one third of its customary pressure, so it was just as well I'd already orderd a new pair of 207RRs earlier in the day. If I had to get this puncture, it's nice that it happened when the tyre was due for replacement anyway.
