Yet that's one of the few things I'd forgive her for.

I don't love her, but I find this all rather distasteful. I can't take
pleasure in anyone's death, whatever they've done.

Well, at least we wouldn't hear about Princess David Fayed for a few
    days.

Actually, seriously, I can't. Well apart from anyone that delays me on
a road, at an airport, looks at me funny, gets in a faster moving
queue... or even worse pushes in front of me in a queue. In all of
those cases I'd happily be involved in their death for at least a few
    microseconds.

But... in the case of politicians, even those who cost me money. No.
However I'm happy to accept I've not been *directly* on the receiving
    end of Thatcher.

I was, but I reserve my feelings of antipathy for the cunts who voted
    her in again.

I'm with Steve on this, as has been discussed before. The idea of
wishing harm on someone you've never even met is just plain wrong.

Wishing harm on someone you have met and who's personally pissed you
    off is another matter altogether.

I am very disappointed that I wasn't called as a witness at the
inquest, seeing as I was deeply implicated in the matter.

Exactly. And it took a remarkably strong and determined Prime Minister
to lead the country through and out of these difficult times.

I was amazed I wasn't called. I had nothing to do with it and was
nowhere near France at the time. And I didn't have a Fiat! How much
    more guilty could I look?

Ah well, I was in France at the time.

The day before we had basically been to all the locations the fateful
couple had been, and were at Le Bourget airport shortly after they flew
    in.

That night we decided to rip the piss big style out of my BIL who had a
thing for Diana in her younger days, which ended with us going to bed
leaving her photograph on the mantlepiece.

    Next day she was dead.
Fair put a shiver down my spine it did.

Actually - do think that you were the target? Maybe it was all a big
