    Sunny, Dry, clear blue sky.
So went for a bimble around for a bit of fresh air. absolutely marvelous and
    relaxing until........
Coming back around from Tower Bridge 5 or 6 twatheads on sprots bikes
thought it highly amusing to loft mingers and pull rolling stoppies up to
the lights. I imagine the camera just a little down the road in the back of
an unmarked van was having a field day snapping away at the prats as they
    tore past on one wheel.
    Ho Hum,
Sure sign Spring is in the air then...........

Got home, parked up, had a coffee and heard a gronch sound, yep, SOBeemer
laying on it's side cos the lorries going past our cottage make the ground
vibrate and it fell off the feckin stand onto the tarmac chippings on me
    drive.
Bust indicator lens and scratched fairing.
    Bollox!
Trip to BMW tomoz for a new lens and some paint then.

The traffic makes your bike fall over?

It must be a full time job keeping all your china plates on the shelves
    and vases on doileys.

Ongoing saga with local council. Next door has the same problems, their
china and ornaments are always being rumbled off the shelves!
County council are looking into the problem because Dartford wankers are
    lethargic.

I imagine the camera just a little down the road in the back of
Prolly did get it high enough, but forward facing one might have some faces
as they all had visors up.

Don't forget to fix the fault in the sidestand that allows passing
lorries to knock the bike over. One way or another something is
    obviously wrong there.

I doubt it would have fell over on the side stand, it was very well
leaned over on that. The centre stands on the K100 are a bit wobbly
    though.

Indeed, I must confess to a deep sense of pleasure when some twat hurtles
passed me in a death defying manoeveur at about Mach 3 on urban roads (upon
which I am making good progress at the speed limit) only then to see the
flash of the Gatso. I think this is called schadenfreuden or summat like
    that.

I think this means that deep down I am not a nice person.

    Uh huh.

Wearing flip up helmets were they?

Considering the average visibility of a face in a helmet is about the same
as a balaclava [1]I can't really see it making the slightlest bit of
    difference.

[1] assuming they didn't have one on anyway - I certainly do when riding at
    the moment.

Robbo, you do know it's not a good idea to use the side stand on the K
series 'cos it makes the oil flow into the head and 'encourages' some to
be burnt when it starts, don't you?

I don't know why anyone bothers with the side stand when there's the
nice little handle that swings out to hoik it up onto the centre stand.

  16. Oh I imagined that you and Zobo would get on like a house on fire.
You're both seemingly of the right wing political angle so must be made
    for each other.

It *was* on the Centre stand mate.
The vibration must have caused the stand to sink slightly on one side thus
    the fall over.

Concrete paving slab has been sought and is on the way ;-)

I bet there's one missing from a pavement near here soon LOL

I'm not really that right wing to be honest. I was always a 'wet' Tory
and tbh I think my instinctive politics (on all but a couple of topics)
aligns more nearly with the current Labour position than the Tory one.

However the topics that worry me about New Labour are ones that have the
potential to greatly impact me (and more importantly my Children).
Consequently atm I can't see myself voting for NL in the next few years.

And anyway, just because two people have similar political views this
shouldn't cause them to get on; it's like saying that 'cos two people
are French they should get on well...

dwb was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Uh-oh. That's a really dangerous assumption to make, that is. At least
in Germany, quite a lot of bikers were surprised how easy it was to
identfy them although they were using illegal dark visors...
