Taking the Kawasaki out for a quick blast this afternoon has reminded
me that there isn't really a substitute for BHP when it comes to
    providing 2 wheeled entertainment.

It took me a couple of miles to get used to the riding position again
but once I'd settled back into things that was forgotten and it was
just a case of pointing it where I wanted to go and going there as
    fast as possible.

The fact that I was supposed to be scrubbing in new tyres went out of
my mind after about 10 miles so that says something about how capable
they felt and after that it was all about reminding myself why I enjoy
riding bikes. Two weeks from now I'll have done a couple of laps of
the island and I can't wait.
