I went to Wales yesterday to complete the sale of my house in Swansea.
As I went over the Severn bridge I had to lean my Gixxer just to keep
going in a straight line so much that if I had kneesliders on I could
almost get my kneedown in a straight line. It was rather breezy.

I take it that this was on the old bridge? [1] The new one has sides to
prevent this, although the banked section of M4 as you enter Wales can be a
bit lively if there is a cross wind.

[1] quite, umm, entertaining, as you go past the pillars where the wind
    disappears momentarily before re-emerging.

No it was the new bridge
It was this bit but I though "The Bridge" sounded better.
