Better control of the bars in a slide. And I'm not a race rider, just a
    determined amateur (8D

I can't find the link now, but I seem to recall he's always shown with a
Heritage Softail which is a very under-whelming bike to be going round
    Mallory on.

However, in the small print it says that he'll either ride the Heritage
or his screamin' chicken kitted Dyna Sport.

The Dyna Sport is a different kettle of herring all together. It's a
half decent bike as it comes, with proper fully adjustable suspension at
    both ends and reasonable brakes.

Now, throw all the SE bits at it and the 60bhp/70lbs-ft 1450cc motor
becomes an altogether different 125bhp/115lbs-ft 1700cc monster.

Now all that torque should help warm up the Dunlop K180F/K180 race tyres
which also happen by chance to be in the SE catalogue.

Now if he were to use the Heritage, then I reckon a few would stand a
chance (I don't count myself amongst them even bearing in mind the
excellent race heritage of the R80RT), but with a fully kitted SE Dyna
Sport to strap underneath his tiny body I think he stands a fair chance
of winning - all that torque with sticky rubber would get him very
briskly off the line and I suspect he could make himself very wide and
very hard to pass all the way around Mallory

I don't know about monz, but I wouldn't put money on me. With a
trackday and a half[1] and zero competitive riding under my belt I
    wouldn't fancy my chances.

[1] Ron haslams thing, before you all start "how can you have half a
    trackday?"

    Bear says...
I've ridden with him on the road, me on a very nice RD350LC F2 and him
on a factory fresh and unmodified Harley Fat Boy. To say he left me for
dead would be an understatement. I think it took 3 roundabouts on the
Worksop A57 ring road and I was history. He alternated between
wheelying out of the roundabouts and spinning the arse end whilst
sideways, all very offputting when you're lining up to pass him on the
exit. You could never tell if it was going to go pear shaped because it
looked so very out of control. I backed right off and let him get on
    with it.

Roger wouldn't entertain the idea of using a Japper in case it broke
down or didn't hold itself together at 140mph.

    Not so glasshopper
I just find them too peaky for their weight and too cheaply built.
