Whoever wrote it did their homework. I couldn't really fault the text. There was the obvious screw up about the LC bodywork, but elsewhere in the article it does mention LC-style, which is close enough. Personally, I think the Daytona and RD400G look more like late model XS400s in style. Everything else written is pretty much spot on, which makes a very welcome change. As an aside, TCL 684W, the white/red RD400F pictured across 2 pages and I suspect also pictured elsewhere; I owned it for 5 months in 1992. I bought it from a bloke who found it tucked away almost unused in Norfolk. It originally came from Mike Bavins in Diss. It had about 1500 miles on it when I bought it. I sold it because I had 4 RDs and 2 had to go as I'd run out of room to store them. I wish I'd kept that one and not the one that I was restoring, and never finished.
