Dinner last night with the Boxer family was very pleasant. BTH, Minx, the
Boxers, Andrew and I met up at Woodstock in Civic. Andrew is about as quiet
as I am in real life (it probably didn't help that the dopey staff seated
him upstairs at a "Betty" table that the rest of us hadn't been seated at -
aaaargh! Sorry about that Andrew! Thank goodness it was all sorted
    eventually.)

I was pleased to discover that I don't appear in Real Life to be as plump
and "grandmotherly" as my name and my posts have obviously implied!!! <grin>
Geez, do I really sound like such an old chook??? Bugger...

So anyway.... during the course of dinner, Boxer and BT between them managed
to turn me off (a) politics as a career; (b) rallies, and (c) diving
    <grin>...

Seriously though - great to meet you guys and put faces to the names - hope
to see you again soon. The Unaugural is looking good....thanks for coming
    along last night.

Sorry I missed it. Did it turn out to be an OK venue?

aus.moto / biking / rally / diving story and nearly as true'.

Yeah, not too bad - a bit noisy and crowded, though (but that's a
particular quirk of mine I spoze - not nuts about noisy crowded
places). I hope the pizzas tasted as good as they looked! As for the
    sundaes...

  8. It's big, it's blue, and it's boxy. But does he have what it takes to really
drive a Volvo? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode
of "Another Ausmotion Bites The Dust and Sells Out To The Sensible Empire"

(not at all affiliated with "Another Ausmotion Gets Married and Has Kids and

I agree; Jesus would've had a lot more disciples if only he'd had a pair of
    natty pants!

  16. Well there's "really quickly", and "quick enough to stay ahead of Clem"
    which isn't _nearly_ as fast...

Thanks for buggering up father-daughter special-time fellers!)

Cameras can only record 30 frames-per-second so it'd be barely discernable!
