    Hey guy!

Just in case I forgot, which I am not sure that I did or not,
I wanted to say thanks for the chow last night. I don't know why you
wouldn't let me pay for it.

Bling! and I left a nice fat tip for poor Pi Pi.....she probably
thought you were giving her a hard time..... we all know you weren't,
    of course. LOL

No thanks are necessary.. The pleasure was all mine.. And for all concerned
about it.. There was no intention to give the little lady any "hard time"..
She actually seemed to enjoy exchanging with me, even though we really
didn't understand each other very well.. The cute little giggle and handwave
when we left was mutual with us..

What is your opinion of the TMRA II meeting and the Bikers you met ?? I
hope that you and Bling felt "well received" and welcome..

Oh yeah! She seemed happy with us over all. I enjoyed the company
last night and the food wasn't 1/2 bad for the price.

Everyone was very nice. While fairly well organized, it lacked a
certain bit of "excitement." I'd like to see some younger guys and
some sport bike guys in there. It didn't seem like that part of the
populous of bikers was well represented.

I'd like to attend a few more meetings and see what happens.

I'd have to agree.. that most "sport bikers" are not too interested in TMRA
II.. for whatever reason.. As we explained.. this is not the legislative
season and the excitement of dealing with those issues which affect us all,
have not been topics for discussion..

As January gets closer, and the legislations on the table are examined, the
issues that we should all be aware of will become more pressing..

Meantime.. those old bikers and veterans have been holding the fort for much
too long and it is time for our younger brothers and sisters to take an
interest and begin to assume responsibility.. The ones you met last night,
are the ones who have stood on the front lines for much too long.. The wars
that they have fought are represented by the freedoms that we all enjoy and
take for granted.. For example.. that old grouchy JQ.. Dreamer... Mike B..
Bill C.. and several others present last night, have spent hours and miles
lobbying and negotiating for our current freedoms.. Those are just examples
at hand.. there are many others who were not present.. Bring on your sport
bike friends .. They will be received as graciously as you and Bling were
    received last night..

Input from all Bikers is welcome and needed..

Not "cutting edge" enough? Or is it because most of 'em a wankers &
squids without a care in the world for what happens outside of their
    own existence?
In all seriousness, I don't have a lot of sport-bike friends. I tend
to not agree with their attitudes and riding styles..... same for a
lot of cruisers that I know.... that's why I don't exactly fit in
    either way.

You continue to be an asset to any "fit in" situation.. my friend.. I agree
that a lot of the legislative activities are not "cutting edge", but they
are a very important factor in every aspect of our lives..

The stress of making a living and providing for ones family, makes it
extremely difficult for most people to participate .. LMAO.. I suppose that
is one of the reasons, guys like me are necessary.. Don't worry about it, we
all understand .. Contribute what you can and when you can.. It is
    appreciated and needed badly...

You must have missed them on their drinking night. Wait for one at the
VFW Hall when the bartender is there.

    Hey Fullstate?

That is the way Ol' Bill is.If his wallet was a six-gun,Matt Dillon would
not of made so many TV shows.I did slow him down some when I brought my son
with us.Dayton ate all of his, half of mine and was "One-Eyeing" Bills plate
    at the Cajun Catfish.

Politics is supposed to be the second
    oldest profession.I have come to
realize that it bears a very close
    resemblance to the first.

Isn't it amazing how much we can eat when we are growing boys? I am
surprised my folks could afford it when I was growing up
    (figuratively, of course).

The Cajun catfish was OK.... not too bad. I'm not a big catfish fan,
mainly because I find it hard to get really good catfish.
