A nice ride that was this morning across the north Pennines. We actually
did about 70 miles in the end, about 100 including the trip to home.

Shame about the fucking 'Road Dressings' though, I got a couple of bits
of road grit between my teeth I think ;-)

I must say, the FJ felt really good on that run, and I was getting more
and more confident as we got on. I still feel I was holding you up
though, although I do have the cheaper Bridgestones on mine.

    All the best.

    Andy.

About 140 in total for me.
It was on some of the best bits, as well ... that's just disgraceful.

Still the sheep behaved themselves and after my ditch-surfing experience
last time I was over that way that was all I was hoping for. It's a bastard
long way to ride home when you've got torn shoulder muscles and a broken
    left thumb.
I honestly wouldn't have gone any faster if you hadn't been there ... all I
wanted today was a gentle run because I haven't done that much riding
outside of commuting for ages. My plan is to gradually pick up my pace over
the next few weeks so I'm feeling confident on the bike at speed by the time
    I get to Croft.

It is a bit worrying that we did whole sections today without exceeding the
speed limit mind, that's just morally wrong!

    Yes it was.
    Oooh, nasty.
I see. Actually that's pretty much my first non-commute run for ages. I
had a couple of runs when I first got the bike, just to get used to it,
    but they were pretty pedestrian.
Yes, we have to watch those split times eh? ;-)
